Bem-aventurado o Que Confia

Blessed is he who trusts
In the Lord, as Abraham did
He believed, even though he did not see
And so, faith was not in vain
And happy is the one who faithfully follows
In the holy ways of the Lord
In tribulation, he is patient
Waiting on his Savior

The heroes of the Holy Bible
Did not immediately enjoy their trophies
But always carried the heavy cross
To obtain power from heaven
And then they went out into the world
As messengers of the Lord
With courage and deep love
Proclaiming Christ, the Savior

Whoever wants to have the crown from God
Will go through more tribulation
No one flies to the holy heights
Without the wings of humiliation
The Lord has given to His beloved
Part of His glorious being
Who is more wounded in the heart
Will have more of that glory

When the flowers here wither
The ones from heaven begin to shine
When hopes fade
The afflicted believer will pray
The most beautiful hymns and poems
Were written in tribulation
And from heaven, the beautiful melodies
Were heard in the darkness

Yes, trust completely
In the immense grace of the Lord
Let discouragement be far from you
And trust in His holy love
Hallelujah be the motto
Of the hero and every victor
And from heaven comes a stronger breeze
That takes you to the bosom of the Lord
