He came down to the Jordan's waters
Jesus, our Redeemer
The eternal God who died
For us, in holy love

We should follow His example
As a rule to guide our way
The saved by His power
Want to follow in His steps

For us, Jesus died on the cross
And redeemed us from evil
He opened the path that leads
To divine life

We die to vile sin
To never return again
And the mistakes of this hostile world
We want to disregard!

A new life we will have
To dedicate ourselves to good
In holiness and love we will live
And speak of God's love
