The Holy Spirit Came Down
The holy spirit came down from the sky
In fullness of power
And Pentecost made the light shine
And crowds were able to believe
Faithful in Christ, without any fear
They all went out to preach
And they succeeded, even in struggle and pain
To conquer final victory
Oh blessed God, today as well
Come grant us Your grace and Your power
Here’s our prayer: Come be near
Come revive Your church here
Only by faith will the righteous live
In the Bible we will find
Jesus, therefore, will give us power
We must believe and trust
Those who wait always on the Lord
Will find peace and joy
They will receive from God constant love
And grace to bear witness
