Jesus, Pastor Amado

Jesus, beloved pastor, look upon us here
Grant that we may be one body, in you
Strife and malice far away from us will go
No sorrow hinder our communion

For being redeemed by one savior
We should be united by holy and strong love
Look sympathetically upon a brother's mistakes
And all help him, with tender compassion
Jesus, gentle and kind, teach us to love
And make us willing also to forgive
Oh! How much we need the Lord's help!
United, we beseech you for this love

Lord, if the whole church walks in holy unity
Then the name of Christian will be blessed
So what you asked for in us will be fulfilled
And the world will recognize in us, your children
