If I live always in pain,
With a heart full of distress?
Will you feel my sad life?

In cruel battles, fear, envy,

Will it matter to you, Lord Jesus
If I live with bitterness?
If I lack the light that comes from the cross?
Will my Savior feel?

If I fall into temptation?
And if evil can overcome my faith,
Will you grant me forgiveness again?
Will it matter to you, Lord Jesus
If death strikes my home?
If I say goodbye to my loved ones,
Will you feel, Jesus, my sorrow?
