Achei Um Grande Amigo

I found a great friend
Jesus, the savior
I will tell how great things He did for me
Being lost, unworthy sinner
He rescued me and now I serve Him at last

And in His immense love, He died on the cross for me
And granted forgiveness of my sins
So I rejoice, living in His light
Hallelujah, Jesus Christ saved me

For this great friend, I desire to live here
And always be in communion with Him
Serve Him faithfully, following His will
I will dedicate my heart to Christ

If the world persecutes me, if I have temptation
With Jesus in my life, I will overcome
And every day Christ leads me by the hand
And in His grace I will always trust

The day is coming
The Bible says so
When Christ will return to this world
A very joyful moment, such a happy day
Yes, what a glorious day it will be!

And so, with Him always, I will dwell in heaven
Already freed from sin and pain
And there, constantly, I will see His face
And I will be forever with the savior
