Early in the morning I look for
From Jesus, the direction
To always follow in His footsteps
In comfort or in distress

Christ loves me, I know it well
I have proof on Calvary
I will forever love you

I, although small
I obey Your command
I follow the path He shows
Without fear or hesitation

He is strong, he protects me
And keep me from sin
If tempted, I run to Him
That frees me without delay
