Mi Jesús Ascendió

My Jesus ascended to dwell
He went to prepare rewards
And seated at the right hand
Of the Father, He will soon return

Christ ascended to intercede
For the poor sinner
He intercedes for His people from there
He will return here to raise His flock
Because we belong to Him

You are the source of love
You promised that by being there
You would send the Comforter
To dwell with us here

You made the lame walk
You made the deaf hear
And the mute could speak
You gave sight to the blind as well

Today we thank you, Lord
For the great manifestation
For you are the one who heals here
And the one who gives forgiveness to lost souls
