and open the door
fish, water, and Basque
its own universe.

We're tired of always walking
like snakes in the grass,
we want to rise up and be
free eagles.

It has old foundations but
it's missing a roof,
Basque wasn't born
to die lost in the mountains.

The city's black fog
and the white snow on the mountain
the future demands of us
to seize the peak.

Step by step we go
toward our university
we don't need a handout
more than what we deserve.
