The Moon gently rises in the infinite
Adorning the evening, like a gentle maiden
Who prepares herself and dreamily
In soulful yearnings to become beautiful

All of nature cries out to the sky and earth!
The birds fall silent in their sad complaints
And the sea reflects all its richness
Softly the Moon's light now awakens
The cruel longing that laughs and cries!
