Perfect peace, yes, I sought
And never found it
For the price I did not want to pay
Far from God wandering
Rejecting His promise
Not wanting to depart from sin

But now I'm living for Jesus
I want to hide near His Cross
Even though suffering pain
I want to be with my Jesus
I finally found life in my Lord

I was in prayer
God touched my heart
And told me, put your life on the altar
For me to sanctify
I then left sin
I soon dedicated my life to God

He bought me with His blood
He purified my being
I found a life of victory
I forgave your sins
For how much I loved you
The Great King tenderly spoke to me
