Oh blessed Shepherd, hear
The prayer of Your children
Little lambs who, in the struggle
Give You their hearts

Christ the King, my sovereign
Let us find peace in rest
To behold You in gentle sleep
And seek You when we wake

A thousand thanks, beloved Shepherd
Today Your lambs give
For Your hands, oh! Have given us
Clothes to wear and our bread

Little ones, we seek You
This night in prayer
Reverently we await
A new anointing in the morning
