Meu Pastor

My shepherd is Jesus Christ
In Him I want to trust
With Jesus, I lack nothing
By His side, I want to walk

He leads me to good rest
To the green field in bloom
He refreshes, yes, my soul
Satisfying me with love

He is my companion
With Jesus I desire to walk
For He gives me strength and power
So that I can walk

He gives me courage
To fear nothing
Even close to death
I am certain I will overcome

Walking by His side
I will fear no evil
His rod and staff
Provide me real protection

Against my enemy
The Lord will always come
He prepares a table for me
And is with me at it

He anoints my head
With the oil of His love
My joy overflows
For my cup is sweet

By His mercy
And for His sublime good
I will dwell in His house
Eternally, amen
