Here I am, Jesus, praising You
For You suffered like this
Your blood shedding
On the harsh cross for me

Glory, hallelujah! O Lamb
Your life gave me peace!
I give You true praise
For such true grace!

You filled me with Your love
Oh! Wonderful Jesus
When You gave me the Spirit
Bringing joy in abundance!

You made Your disciples
Speak in strange tongues
The same You granted me
And give to those who seek

May Your Spirit descend
To seal Your people
Fulfilling the promise
In those who trust

The gifts of the Holy Spirit
Are nine, which Christ gives us
And to the contrite who asks
Jesus will not deny them

It is Your love, heaven and joy
In which I will always rejoice
To my Lord so kind
A thousand glories I will give!
