Aos Pés de Cristo Prostrados

From Christ resurrected
At His feet we prostrate
With faith we worship Him
He is the Savior of the world
We, redeemed believers
Already washed by blood
Securely kept in grace
We have God's favor!

All that we suffer
Christ has already endured
To the tired sinner
He can and wants to help
Oh! How much pain we see
Christ suffering on the cross
Dying there thirsty
To save mortal beings!

I thirst!, exclaims
The divine Lamb
Nailed to the wood
On the cross of curse
Oh! How much Christ loves
The lost sinner
For He has shed blood
To grant forgiveness!

To us, who are holy
Grant us true grace
So that Your will may be done
In us
We found on the cross
Abundant comfort
God's sufficient grace
And divine power!
