Wait from heaven, your Lord, the faithful
Wait praying, for He shall return
In the cloud, in glory the Emmanuel
With great power, in order to gather

He will come in glory, the Son of God
Always praying, Jesus wait
If you see the morning star in the sky
Be alert!

O loving Father, send Jesus
The faithful believer awaits Him from heaven
Oh, send Him soon the heavenly light
In which the Son of God shall come

The holy Gospel shall be fulfilled
And soon in the clouds we will see Jesus
Thus He will descend as you saw Him ascend
He who sacrificed Himself for us on the cross!
