The peace and joy Jesus has given me
He came down to the world for this
To save me, His blood was shed
When He expired on the cross for me

Peace of God in Jesus I found
For I have joy in my heart
Honor and glory I will give
To the One who brought me salvation

The peace and joy I finally enjoy
Through Jesus Christ, my Redeemer
A holy love, oh, I have within me
Which I received from the Comforter

The peace and joy my heart has
Heavenly life, full of love
Christ gave me true salvation
Also the gift of the Comforter
