As Santas Escrituras

It is the Holy Scriptures that tell us about Jesus
Who, coming from the heights, made light shine in the darkness
To give us eternal life, He humbled Himself unto death
Having already overcome the struggle, God the Father exalted Him

Never again will be heard another tale of love
That converts a lost and rebellious sinner
Like the Holy Gospel that speaks of forgiveness
And transforms the old man into a new creation

His redeeming blood was shed on the cross
His side was pierced by a spear
His hands and feet were nailed with nails on the cross
All this they told me about the kindness of Jesus

Never again will be heard another tale of love
That converts a lost and rebellious sinner
Like the Holy Gospel that speaks of forgiveness
And transforms the old man into a new creation

I want to keep hearing the story of the Lord
I am enjoying salvation from this tale of love
I have been freed from judgment, condemnation, and pain
I am certain through the Bible that Jesus is the Savior
