My Jesus, for me, died
On the cross, with horrendous pain
There in my place He suffered
Such tremendous anguish!
Who in the world could I find
To compare to my Jesus?
Jesus, Jesus, I will only love!

My Jesus is in heaven
A powerful intercessor
Always asking God for me
For grace, fervent love
No one leads the sinner to the Father
Except Jesus
Jesus, Jesus, lead me to God!

My Jesus rose from the dead
In a glorious body
Also, for me, He paid
A fabulous price to God!
Which mortal will I find
To equal my Jesus?
Jesus, Jesus, I cannot compare!

Jesus from heaven will return
In majesty and glory
Then His angels will sing
The hymn of victory
Jesus, finally, will defeat
The Antichrist, and reign
Jesus, Jesus, come and take me away!
