To Calvary, only Jesus went
Carrying a heavy cross
And dying, there for the mortal left
A beacon of glorious light

Through the cross to heaven I will go

To the home of peace and eternal love

Only on the cross will the thirsty soul find
The source of inspiration
And there the burden of pain will fall
At Calvary, there is salvation
