A gentle Savior is Christ Jesus
For He saved my soul
He also took my sins upon Himself
On the cross when He rescued me

On the eternal rock I am firmly established
And I have salvation
Jesus Christ hides me in His mantle
Watching over me with His hand
Watching over me with His hand

Enjoying the blessings of Heaven I am
In Christ, the Son of God
Joyfully I live and walk in the light
I continue on the path to Heaven

The burdens I had Jesus took them
Now I am free
The grace is enough that Christ gave me
So towards Heaven I go

Ending the toil then I will see Him
With angels and saints in Heaven
And hymns of glory I will sing
To the One who died for me
