Struggling as I am, hopefully I'll have money
To help my people, friends, and companions
I don't want to be hiding from enemies
And the government, with the little I have, I never show off

I don't have armed people because
It's nothing I fear, I entertain myself with women
They say I'm a good person, honest
And a good companion, and also that I'm sincere, I prove myself to be a gentleman

There are many envious people, if they see you have money
They later seek your friendship and turn out to be traitors
Some end up without fortune, others
End up in jail, others have less luck and end up in the hole
