On Devient Fou Dans Les Grands Magasins

We Go Bonkers In The Department Stores
We go bonkers in the department stores
There is everything in the department stores
And in the section dedicated to children's joy
There's something delightful for both the young and the old
We go bonkers in the department stores
We see everything, from bears to puppets
Including lampshades and harlequin clothes
We say hello, but it's just a mannequin
What a wonderful job it must be to clerk in a department store
To give dreams to those who dream
What a lovely job all day long in a department store
To make a rabbit dance, along with three ducks and a large dog
We go bonkers in the department stores
We dash around, get lost, and all of a sudden
Right next to the mommies' section
We find ourselves standing before an elephant
There are buttons, ribbons, satin fabrics
There are balloons and drawing notebooks
Kangaroos and alarm clocks
We go bonkers in the department stores
We go bonkers in the department stores
One can find everything in the department stores
There are laces for the young ladies
And lovely pants for the little shavers
We go bonkers in the department stores
We run all over, leaving and returning
Escalators, we are fond of y'all
We go bonkers in the department stores
