Pela Via Dolorosa

Through the sorrowful way, sadly I saw in Jerusalem
The soldiers cleared the way for Jesus
But the people approached to see what carried that cross
He bled from the blows he received on his back
Crowned with thorns was the Lord
And with each step, he saw the contempt of the people he loved

Through the sorrowful way, it is the way of pain
Like a lamb, Christ came, King and Lord
And it was He who wanted to go out of love for you and me
Through the sorrowful way to Calvary to die
