If I Praise
God's word assures us that when we praise, walls come down
Chains break and the enemy runs away
Let everything that breathes praise the Lord!
It was on a beautiful morning at Joshua's feet
That the walls of Jericho
Fell without resisting the sound of a loud praise, oh-oh
It was under a beautiful moonlight that an earthquake freed
Paul and Silas from prison
They were set free to the sound of a loud praise, oh-oh, oh
It's not by my strength that I can win
But by the strength of the One who is
Some trust in men or only in themselves
But I will trust in the Lord
If I praise, the enemy will flee
If I praise, walls will come down
If I praise, chains will break
I’ll be singing and praising, exalting the Lord
If I praise, the enemy will flee
If I praise, walls will come down
If I praise, chains will break
I’ll be singing and praising, exalting the Lord, oh-oh-oh
It was in the desert of pain and amidst temptation that Jesus taught us
How to defeat Satan with a loud praise, oh-oh
It's not by my strength that I can win, but by the strength of the One who is
Some trust in men or only in themselves, but I will trust in the Lord
If I praise, the enemy will flee
If I praise, walls will come down
If I praise, chains will break
I’ll be singing and praising, exalting the Lord
If I praise, the enemy will flee
If I praise, walls will come down
If I praise, chains will break
I’ll be singing and praising, exalting the Lord, oh-oh-oh
And I sing, I dance, I exalt, and I sing, I dance, I exalt
And I sing, and I dance, and exalt, and I jump, and I jump
If I praise, the enemy will flee
If I praise, walls will come down
If I praise, chains will break
I’ll be singing and praising, exalting the Lord
If I praise, the enemy will flee
If I praise, walls will come down
If I praise, chains will break
I’ll be singing and praising, exalting the Lord, oh-oh-oh
