I am a survivor of immense pains, I carry scars that time left behind
I was once a dry leaf carried by the wind, I rowed against the tide
I've been through tough times

It was evident on my sad face, marks that time cannot erase
Those who looked at me from afar
Saw a ragged man
Without direction

Tears in my eyes, wounded heart, life without meaning, that was me but
Jesus arrived, changed my story
And made me a winner

And the portrait of my life is no longer sad, the picture of my story
It was the Lord who painted it, today everything is different, I was so needy
Now I have your love

The cause that was lost, the Lord has already repealed
He rose from his throne, blessed me with his hand
Today I have a new life because my wounds Jesus Christ has already healed
