When the axe floated
And the giant then fell
God was there
When the Red Sea parted
And the wall collapsed
God was there

When water gushed from the rock
Moses looked through a cleft
God was there
There in the desert the bush burned
And the fire did not consume
God was there
Elijah prayed and the fire came down
A blind man cried out and received
Because God was there

The same God who was there is here
Today the sea will open for you to cross
The same God who did everything in the past
Can do everything again
You can believe

When you cried, God was there
Today He is here to console you
