With a straw hat
A Galician went to Bethlehem
While he was worshiping the child
The cow ate his hat
Let the shepherds through
Let them pass
They’re going to sing to the child
To Jesus in the manger!
On a pile of straw, lying down
And in little hides, there he is!
Being the owner of this world
And lord of everything that exists!
