The God I Know
The God I know is mighty
Not limited by time or place
Knows the end from the beginning
Had no start, won't have an end
Bigger than the universe dwells a heart
Equal to his justice is his forgiveness
In a mysterious way, he became man
In his grace, I have salvation
The God I know, sets aside the crown
And comes in search of the lost
Not intimidated by pain and sacrifice
Opens his arms to save whoever wants
The God I know, would do it all over again
If needed, went beyond what anyone could imagine
For his love is much greater than his glory
The God I know is different
Goes deep when it comes to salvation
Gives his own life for his children
Dying hanging on a rough cross
