Pebbles
I have my pebbles, big and small
When I get lost, I spread them out to make a path
I have my pebbles, collected from everywhere
When I fall into emptiness, I create games to play
I have a dictionary, a forgotten language
Yet within it, the meaning of everything is hidden
I have a pair of glasses, the left lens is broken
When I wear them, they almost show the inside
Have you ever been 'nothing', suddenly calmed down?
Did you drink every water, murky or clear?
Did you rise from the ground without a net beneath?
Just when you were savoring it, did you suddenly fall?
Did you fall?
I have four walls that have never been painted
I slip through the cracks and pass right through
I have walls that have never crumbled
When I look closely, I can see what's behind them
Have you ever been 'nothing', suddenly calmed down?
Did you drink every water, murky or clear?
Did you rise from the ground without a net beneath?
Just when you were savoring it, did you suddenly fall?
Did you fall?
I have a story, the ending unwritten
I have a lover, whom I haven't met yet
I have my hope, I have my hope
I have my hope, I have my hope
Have you ever been 'nothing', suddenly calmed down?
Did you drink every water, murky or clear?
Did you rise from the ground without a net beneath?
Just when you were savoring it, did you suddenly fall?
Have you ever been 'nothing', suddenly calmed down?
Did you drink every water, murky or clear?
Did you rise from the ground without a net beneath?
Just when you were savoring it, did you suddenly fall?
Did you fall?
