Expectativa

There is a constant struggle
Between my self and God's will
Because I don't know how to wait
For the time to fulfill
What He promised me

With my own strength, I plan and try
Only to end up frustrated
I need to remove my expectations from what is human
And only wait in You

Teach me to seek Your kingdom first
I don't want to suffer to learn
That Your will will always be
The best place to be
Today I decide to change
I decide to wait, I decide to believe
And above all
To live Your will

My expectation is to be filled with Your presence
I forget my desires when I enter Your presence
I know Your promises will come true
In my life and my generation
But, Lord, I need Your anointing first

Every day of waiting
I feel the Lord renewing me
He has the right time
He doesn't fail and doesn't delay
Meanwhile, I worship Him

If it hurts, I worship Him
I just trust and worship
