Lord, hear my prayer
Needy and suffering I am
Guard my soul from temptation
Save your servant, for I am holy

I want mercy from you
For every day I live to cry out
Give me joy before you
You who are always ready to forgive

In my distress I will seek you
For among the gods you are my God
I will continue on your path
In your true teachings

I will praise you Lord, my God!
I will exalt your holy name
Grant strength to your son
And I will rest forever
