From what God sucked the milk from your breast
It's no wonder to be amazed

From this, Holy Mary made a wondrous miracle
In the church in Lugo, grand and pious
For a woman who had her breast taken
And most of her body badly injured

The bishop and all the people standing before
Seeing and hearing her crying loudly
They saw that it was a miracle and not a trick
Therefore, they praised the Virgin for the deed
