On My Way
On my way through life
I’ll have to eat the dust
Get stuck in the mud
Like so many have
Sharing the little food
That I carry in my pack
Whether it fills me with joy
Or empties me with sadness
Days of anguish will come
Days of hope will come
Just like the earth is uncertain
So am I
I’ll doubt the commitment
And sometimes I’ll say no
And I’ll lack it when needed
Decision
But far away, on the horizon
(With the shining light, the force of the wind pushes me forward)
Already free from deceit
Seeing thousands, like me (they are the men)
Who are conquering fear
I’ll lighten my step (it’s the joy and the spirit, the power of the shout)
Carrying my pack with me (that guides me ahead)
And I’ll ignite with the song (as light as the step of my companions)
The step of my companions
Days of anguish will come
Days of hope will come
Just like the earth is uncertain
So am I
I’ll doubt the commitment
And sometimes I’ll say no
And I’ll lack it when needed
Decision
But far away, on the horizon
(With the shining light, the force of the wind pushes me forward)
Already free from deceit
Seeing thousands, like me (they are the men)
Who are conquering fear
I’ll lighten my step (it’s the joy and the spirit, the power of the shout)
Carrying my pack with me (that guides me ahead)
And I’ll ignite with the song (as light as the step of my companions)
The step of my companions
Onward
