They close the eyes of the mothers in Palestine as soon as they open them
And those of us who watch from afar don't see anything
Is distance the one that makes us feel far away?
Or have we become accustomed to the problem?
We understand their pain but it doesn't grip our hearts
When we learned about the dead, we forgot to feel
In Nablus
In Bethlehem
In Jerusalem
What is wrong
And what is right
We are here
How many stones are there in Palestine and on our way?
How many lives are imprisoned here, and how many lives are free there?
The answers are sovereign
When we learned to tell everything that happens, we forgot to worry and care about what has happened!
