God had Moses as a close friend
And with him, the talks were face to face
That relationship was special
Moses, a man who turned away from evil

He lived in harmony with the Spirit of God
To the point of sharing His feelings
To feel compassion when He felt compassion
To be saddened by sin when He was saddened

He knew the ways through prayer
And grew in deep communion
Moses talking with God said

Don't make me leave here, Lord
Entering this land is my desire
Having an angel with me on the journey I know is good
But if You’re not with me, I’m not going anywhere

Don't make me leave here, Lord
If Your presence isn't with me
Look at what happened at the Red Sea
Moses touched the waters and the sea split
For there was a partnership between him and God

So touch by faith what makes you cry
Then everything will change
Touch by faith what makes you suffer
Everything will be resolved
For there is a partnership between God and you
