I'm sitting here
Thinking about yesterday
With cloudy eyes
And it won't stop raining.

The smoke from the joint
Blinds my mind,
My soul is in mourning
And remembers this song.

The earth is dying,
We're the ones killing it
Without realizing that
We're also suffering.

We massacre animals,
Burn down forests,
Industry, more industry
For the progress of man.

I can no longer see
What my grandparents saw
And I won't see
What I'll leave to my grandkids.

I imagine destruction
War and suffering
Now I'm happy
Knowing that I'll be dead.
