Manhã da Ressurreição

It was in the morning when the sisters went to Jesus' tomb
But upon arrival, they couldn't find Him
They only saw a bright light
Mary sat in a corner there, and tears began to flow
When suddenly, He appeared
"Mary, I am alive
Here I am!"

I have risen and the power of death could not hold me
This cold tomb could never keep me
Behold now I have power on earth and in heaven
Go and tell others
That Emmanuel has risen

And Jerusalem was so sad
For the Lord no longer exists
Not believing what happened
Three days without seeing the Son of God
Not far from there, gathered, yes, were the Disciples weeping
When suddenly, without anything opening
Jesus comes saying: Here I am!
