The Great Day
The day is near when everything will end
And Christ in white garments will take his bride
The day has come, it was Jesus who promised
I will go but I will return to take you
It's time for repair, time for preparation
Now more than ever we have to join hands
The hour has come when many will cry
The church of the Lord will not suffer
Not even gravity will prevent
Our journey towards Canaan
On that great day we will see Jesus
In the midst of joy, what delight, what pleasure
And from here we will no longer remember
Everything will be joy and full peace
In the heavenly mansion, celestial Canaan
Sublime homeland far from this evil world
Just a few minutes left and the door will close
The trumpet is approaching to sound
In the Bible it is written that there will be lamentation
And many will cry for their sins
But there will be no way to fix the situation
Murmurs and groans of the nations will be heard
The chosen people will be in heaven with God
For Christ promised this one day
Not even gravity will prevent
