Sofrer Por Jesus

In the world there is so much sadness, so much affliction
Only God, the Sovereign, with his strong hand
Come and solve my problems
And give me strength to walk
Always by my side, day by day, until I reach heaven

There are those in this world who persecute believers for speaking about God
But it is lost to persecute the people God has chosen
If today I am suffering, crying
It's because one day Jesus loved me
And because he loved me, he never denied me his blood on the cross

Oh, how many suffer, oh, how many die without denying Jesus
Oh, how many cry to God, beg carrying the cross
If my anguish torments me, robbing me of peace
There are so many who for Jesus endure much more

Being persecuted for the love of Christ and keeping the faith
It's fighting hard, raising the flag bravely until death
My life cost a lot, Jesus paid the price for it
If I lose her today, I know I will live with my Lord

I do not lose heart, because the General is ahead of me
I do not fear death, for I will receive a reward from God
God is with me, I will win
In heaven with Christ I will sing
No more regrets, I will be eternally happy
