In a bloody battle, a soldier got hit
And losing a lot of blood, he couldn't fight
He said to his buddy

Wounded soldier, the King is counting on you

When the commander learned what had happened
That in the midst of battle a soldier was hurt
He asked his buddy: Come on, just put me down quick

When the soldier read the letter he received
From his glorious King brought by his messenger
He drew his sword
And invited his buddy to face the enemy
