Nostalgic Memory
Oh, what a nostalgic memory I have of you, oh Zion,
Land that I love so much, for you are in my heart;
I will fly to you when the Lord returns,
For HE went to heaven and will soon come to take me.
Yes, I will strive for that land beyond
And there I will end the many struggles from this side
There is my good Lord, whom I desire to see
HE is everything to me and without HIM I cannot live.
Beautiful, very beautiful hope for those who watch for You
For they receive strength that is only found there
Those who seek to reach Your bosom, Zion,
Will be free from sin and all temptation.
The sacred scripture says that the feet are beautiful
Of those who bring good news to the unbelievers,
And if it is so beautiful to speak of these greatnesses here
What will it be to enjoy the grace that exists there.
