Thus spoke King Nebuchadnezzar
To all mayors, presidents
Judges, treasurers, advisors
Officials and all provincial governors

Servants, slaves, free people, parents, children
Race, tribe, everyone from the courtyard
From the palace of King Nebuchadnezzar
To worship the statue he erected
For his own glory

And all those who do not bow down before the statue
He will be thrown into the fiery furnace
Thus says the king, thus it shall be done

And there they were, the three of them
Filled with anointing and conviction from head to toe
Looking at each other, saying
We will not bow down
Even if it costs us our lives, we will be faithful

Preparations begin for the band to play
And with each passing minute, their faith grows
And when the band played
They all prostrated themselves at once
But in the middle of the crowd, the three remained standing

Someone quickly saw it and went to inform the king
Didn't you tell him to bend over?
But there are people in there who don't obey
Even when threatened with a furnace, they stay there
With a different sparkle, even in their eyes
And standing in the crowd, they remain

Call them over here so we can talk
Because I want to see who will deliver them
Bring them my presence
And I'm going to show you who's in charge here
And here come the three of them, firm and fearless

Indignant, King Nebuchadnezzar began to say

That's right, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego
Why don't you worship my gods?
Do they not even worship the golden image that I had erected?
Because now
When you hear the instruments playing
If you are willing to prostrate yourselves on the ground
And loving the image I made will be better for you
But if they do not worship, they will be thrown out immediately
In the blazing furnace
And how can God deliver you from my hands?

We do not need to answer you, O king
The God of heaven is the one who can deliver us
And if not, be warned, O king
We will not serve your gods
We won't even bow down

And they were thrown into the fiery furnace
But something surprising happened
That's because the fourth man got there first
To free the three young people
And they walked around in the midst of the fire
And the king, frightened, makes a new decree
From now on, we will worship only the God of heaven
