In your hand I learned to drink water,
I was a sparrow that got trapped in your cage,
because I cut my wings
and the birdseed you gave me
was so little and yet I loved you.

My song for you was always complete,
without you I couldn't fly in other skies,
but you left me alone, confused, and forgotten,
