Deep inside the Salteño Chaco
Joy has a place
The sound of violins and drums
Tearing through the silence

Tobas, Wichis, Chorotes
And the locals from that place
Just before the wine runs out
They end up embracing

Under the scorching sun
With armadillo, wine, and barbecue
Those who arrive start biting
A taste like no other

Those good and suffering people
With love and hope they go
Through life dreaming that one day
They will remember their troubles

With relatives and friends arriving
From Bolivia and Paraguay
Borders are fading away
In the heat of the regional

The wild horses go to the sky
As a plea to ask
To be saved from harmful logging
Palo Santo, Quebracho, and Cebil

The stars are bathing
In the water of the madrejón
And my eyes dreaming, dreaming
Chaqueñita with your sweet love

The wind throws up the dust
Of the gauchos dancing
Because near the three borders
Joy has found a place
