La Villana de Una Historia Mal Contada
El Cantar del Dragón
The Villain of a Badly Told Story
Write in your books that I was the darkness
The demon queen, pure cruelty
Paint my portraits with eyes of ice
The one who made a pact with shadows for power!
Tell them that my magic corrupted the root
And that from my breath, the scar was born!
Now it splits this kingdom of Sun in two
Forget my name
Just put down resentment!
They talk about justice, a hero and his faith
About the light they brought and the monster that left
But their shining light is a big lie
That burns hotter than my own wrath!
So yeah!
I’m the villain of this badly told story
The shadow that rises from their profaned light
The echo of a scream that no one heard!
The rightful consequence!
Of what their king sowed!
I’m the monster that you created with your own hands!
And now you tremble for what you finally unleashed!
I remember their laughter, their cups of honor
While my people died of hunger and pain
For their greater good and their false ideals
They sacrificed my village
My heritage, my peace!
The steel hero with his holy sword
Was the one who burned my fields and choked my throat
And when I pleaded, they called me impure
Sealing my soul in this armor!
They talk about my army of beasts without pause
But forget the cages where I pulled them out!
They were your trophies, your slaves, your horror
I gave them purpose, a name, and worth!
So yeah!
I’m the villain of this badly told story
The shadow that rises from their profaned light
The echo of a scream that no one heard!
The rightful consequence!
Of what their king sowed!
I’m the monster that you created with your own hands!
And now you tremble for what you finally unleashed!
Now the specters you feared so much
March by my side, they call me their guide!
My throne isn’t made of gold, it’s made of bones and thorns!
And my crown is the fear that you instill!
I seek no forgiveness
I don’t want your pity!
I just want you to write!
The whole truth!
Carve my name with hate and fear!
But in the silence, ask with honor!
Who pledged the first sword?
In this story!
Badly told!
