Tangled in my thoughts,
Tied to what still hurts.
I just want to escape to another place,
Where I don't feel like this, so terribly alone.

I'm tired of the disguise,
I'm tired of being a slave to dissatisfaction.
I just want to caress a song,
And thus forget what I lost,
For not having listened always.

Where do you go when the days have no colors?

I retreat from the pain.
I take refuge in my den without moving.
I only come out to breathe when necessary,
Without rushing, nor speeding up, because nothing really matters.
