They say it's true,
that one hears talk,
in the nights
when there's a moon
on the walls,
someone speaks.

No one wants to go,
in the darkness,
everyone says
that at night
the Alhambra is haunted,
by the Moor
of Granada.

They say it's true,
that his soul is,
enchanted for losing
one day Granada
and he cried.

When the sun goes down,
he is heard speaking,
walking his bitterness
through the Alhambra,
remembering and crying
for Granada.

They say it's true,
that he never left,
condemned to live
always in the Alhambra
and to cry for it.

At dusk,
they say one sees,
among shadows the figure
of that Moor, bewitched,
for losing one day Granada.
