Memória e Fado

Why did the dream end
When the day broke?
In the mirror
Came a fear of that dead taste from the past
Drenched in memory
I didn’t want life to end in the abyss of this room
Souring bitter loneliness

Why does the hour slip away
In the mirror's memory?
Like a fado
I weave the thread of my dream full of mystery
A rosary of silence
And my mouth shut tight, scared of the shadows of those angels
Who left and never come back again.
