I said: Here I come, Lord
With pleasure I do your will!

I waited, waited on the Lord
And bending down, he heard my cry
He put a new song on my lips
A poem in praise of the Lord

Sacrifice and offering you did not desire
But you opened, Lord, my ears
You did not ask for offerings or victims
Holocausts for our sins

And then I said to you: Here I come!
It is written about me in the book
With pleasure I do your will
I keep your law in my heart!

I proclaimed the good news of your righteousness
In a great assembly
You know: I did not close my lips!
